About BonusCeiling
BonusCeiling tracks public sign-up bonuses on popular U.S. personal and business credit cards and compares each one to its all-time high, so you can tell whether today's offer is at, near, or below its ceiling.
How we check data: we compare each offer with the issuer's own product page where it can be read and note the date checked. All-time highs come from cited third-party offer histories; where we can't verify a record, we say so rather than guess.
Offers change often and may be targeted or personalized. Always confirm terms on the issuer's site before applying.
Methodology
- Current offer: the public offer on the issuer's product page, recorded with the date we checked it. Cards we could not fully confirm (for example Amex "as high as" offers that vary by applicant) are labeled "Not fully verified".
- All-time high: the largest public offer reported by the cited sources on each card page. If no reliable history exists we show "Unknown (not verified)" instead of guessing.
- Elevated / at record: a card is "at record" when its current bonus equals or exceeds the tracked all-time high; otherwise we show the current bonus as a percentage of the record.
- Issuer rules: taken from issuer terms where published; community-reported rules (such as Chase 5/24 and BofA 2/3/4) are labeled as such.
Who runs BonusCeiling
TK is a points nerd and budgeting obsessive who believes everyday spending should fund big trips and a solid cash cushion. He started BonusCeiling to make the best sign-up bonuses (and the rules that block them) easy to see at a glance.
BonusCeiling is independent of the card issuers; see our Advertiser Disclosure for how the site makes money.
